Himachal Trans Act Awareness Program

This initiative happens in two modes: Online and offline. We visit physical grassroots spaces in rural Himachal to talk about laws, legalities, Trans Act 2019, other laws and intervention strategies. Online, through AGENCY, we are creating an archive of conversations around contemporary Trans* experiences in India, where we can speak freely about the different intersections of issues, identities and livelihoods which Trans* individuals are presently living with, in India. We feel the need to have more conversations around Trans* experiences and acknowledge the different kinds of lived realities that our community consists of.
